About Us

My mum started her career wind down at this age.  Planned to travel with an RV and make new friends in new places.  My parents had a farm and sold it for the freedom to not harvest potatoes in the rain and fix busted well waterlines in the field.

Well I am here now at this midlife junction.  And I want to steer right back into the dirt.  Feeling increasing ready to trade frequent flyer status for mucky boots.

So here is our crazy plan.  Buy land and work it.  Two achy, past prime people planning their retirement in a back breaking, risk taking venture. It will take a couple years to get there and this blog is all about hitching you along with us as we prepare for our next adventure
